Initial situation
The group of companies Hoyer is a leading, independent petroleum and liquid gas trader. The family company looks back on a long tradition and today has a total of over 600 employees on its payroll at several locations.

To improve customer service and to reduce accounts receivable Wilhelm Hoyer KG decided to offer noncash payment as a new service for fuel oil upon delivery.

All the tank trucks in the fuel oil sector were fitted with a mobile payment terminal to conclude the transactions via wireless communication.

Implementation
REA Card supplies a Hoyer an EC terminal of the type s REA ECS-GM. It was especially developed for mobile use and its long battery life and great reliability in demanding conditions are what distinguish it.

Thanks to state-of-the art GSM mobile radio technology the mobile EC terminals can build up an online connection at any time. When and if required, transactions in the EC process with PIN entry can be concluded on the spot.
